It is the responsibility of the Client to confirm and provide the correct information about Booking details. Responsibilities include and not limited to the following:
a. Correct date & times
b. Correct address and contact details
c. Correct information of external suppliers (name/ phone number/ delivery details)
d. Payment is received on time
e. Provide valid Credit Card
f. Return or acknowledgement of the run sheet
g. Providing all known dietaries
h. Client provide parking
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Grandmasboy Kitchen & Catering will require valid credit card details as security when Clients Booking has been confirmed. Grandmasboy Kitchen & Catering will not charge this credit card without the authorization from the Client. However in at any time that the payment terms have not been met, we reserves the right to take funds against the credit card for the outstanding amount (plus 2% surcharge).
a. Collection of Information – In order to use the Grandmasboy Kitchen & Catering website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including email. Any information collected by Grandmasboy Kitchen & Catering is collected via correspondence from Client or Clients Company. This may be via the telephone, Email, mail, fax or directly through our website.
b. Use of Collected Information – Any details collected from Your Private Chef customers is required in order to provide you with our products and/or services, and a high level of customer service. Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development.
c. Storage of Collected Information – The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) on our website, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
d. Grandmasboy Kitchen & Catering follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
e. Grandmasboy Kitchen & Catering does not permanently retain on file credit card details of any bookings – all details are destroyed once a payment has been made for both deposit and full balance. Your Private Chef will only retain your personal records if you specifically ask us to do so in writing due to regular repeat business. In which case you will still be issued with an invoice and receipt in all cases.
It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that Grandmasboy Kitchen & Catering has details of any special dietary requirements or allergies that guests may have. The Client must either introduce such guests to the Function Staff to ensure Your Private Chef are aware of the identity of the individual, and if a seated event, supply full name and table allocation for each such guest. Whilst Your Private Chef will accommodate dietary requirements where possible, no responsibility can be taken for guests with allergies that may result in serious or fatal consequences. The Client and the Card Holder indemnify Your Private Chef and its agents against any claim relating to any such person or anything relating to them, in addition to any other indemnity.
A booking will not be considered ‘Confirmed’ until a deposit has been received.
Should you need to make any changes to your booking you can do so at any stage up to 7 days prior to the event. Final numbers will need to be advised 5 days prior to the event.
A 50% deposit for any cooking event at the time of confirmation (see above)
The final 50% payment will be due within 7 days of the event.
Payment can be made by Credit Card or Wire Transfer into bank account.
In the event of the cancellation of a cooking event (such cooking class, dinner parties or meal planning) refund of the deposit will be calculated upon the following conditions:
• Cancellations up to one month before date of cooking event: 100% of deposit will be refundable
• Cancellations between 2-4 weeks before date of cooking event: 50% of deposit will be refundable
• Cancellations less than two weeks before date of cooking event: Deposit will not be refundable
CATERING EVENTS/SPECIAL EVENTS
(a) Should it become necessary for client to terminate this Agreement, and the event date is greater than thirty (30) days, Caterer shall be entitled to retain any and all expenditures to date, including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, rentals and/or proposals costs.
(b) If Agreement is terminated within thirty (30) days of the event, Caterer shall be entitled to retain twenty-five percent (25%) of deposit and seek any additional expenditures to date, including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, rentals and/or proposals costs.
(c) If Agreement is terminated within fourteen (14) days of the event Caterer shall be entitled to retain any deposit paid and seek any additional losses including but not limited to contracted labor, special orders, rentals and/or proposals costs.
(d) If an Agreement is drawn within five (5) days of the event, client agrees to pay full event costs per bid
Should the event be cancelled by Caterer, Caterer will fully refund any deposit within ten (10) days of the date of cancellation. If event is within thirty (30) days, Caterer will reimburse or pay to Client the invoiced difference in costs and expenses that have been incurred by the client paid to an alternative provider or providers based upon the total proposal bid. Client shall make reasonable efforts to mitigate damages and obtain substantially similar services. The Caterer’s responsibility is limited to items covered in the last accepted proposal by client. Any additional items are at client’s expense.
In event of cancellation by Grandmasboy Kitchen and Catering you will be given the choice of a 100% refund of your charge deposit or to reschedule your cooking event.
